1. Information about me!

   Personal Bio :: I am 49 years young, married for 27 years and mother of 2 sons (24 and 21 years) who still like to live in my house. During summer my husband and I like to cycle on our bicycles, especial when it is beautiful weather! LOL We also like to travel and go camping. We meanwhile have visited 12 European countries and love to climb/walk in the mountains and visit old castles and churches!

   Occupation :: Municipal Official at the administration of the Social department for people who are on welfare. I have to investigate if people really have/had the right to get a social security benefit/income support and if they really got the money they had the right to get, or if they perhaps commit fraud.

   
   Hobbies :: Most important my computer, reading and posting messages at the websites of a few friends. I like it to meet other people abroad and learn about their way of living and build friendships. I am online now for 7 years and meanwhile "met" some great friends I know now already for years!

   Music has always been important in my life! I like almost all kinds of music and especial that of the 70/80ties when I was young. It brings back good memories! It depends on my mood what I am listening. I like to listen to many different artists like Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Elvis, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli etc etc but I never considered myself as a big fan of one of them until I heard a beautiful song of Mark Knopfler about 1 ½ years ago! ………At his website I discovered more and more songs and since that time, I became a big fan and play his music every day when I drive at work! I knew Dire Straits, but don't know why I didn't hear about his beautiful solo music! With the help of his wonderful fans, I still get new information and the more I listen and read, the more I respect, admire even adore this wonderful writer, musician, producer and very nice and sweet man! I wished I heard about him in the past!

   While I am busy behind the computer I always listen to music too! Besides listening to music of Mark, I also like to like to listen to music at internet radio station Audiocandy.com. Many great Independent artists have their music there, but you also can find music of famous artists like Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, James Taylor, Phil Collins, Creedence Clearwater Rival etc etc …………there are too many to mention! It is a great station and you can request every hour 2 of your favourite songs ………..well if it is not to busy there! LOL My friends Bill Atkins and Ron Sinnott gave me the possibility to have my own page and music station there, called "Listen and LOVE this music".
